The store manager is a CM character created by the blazing cartoonist,
Mr. Kazuhiko Shimamoto. It is different from what we called an image
character. It not only gives praise, but sometimes also points out
Animate’s week points. “A man who supports the Animate
from the bottom of his heart”, that is the animation store manager.He
wants everybody to know even a little bit about Animate. And also
wants you to fall in love with Animate. That is the mission of the
Animation store manager, Meito Anisawa!!

The blazing store
manager. He is a fireball who loves animation merchandise at heart.
He takes over the dying wish of the former store manager, though still
alive, who was attacked by the rival store and becomes a “store
manager” of newly opened animation goods specialty store, Animate.
The scarlet, “store manager visor” is his trademark. |

The heroin is a borderline
beautiful girl who works part-time and loves Ramicards and boy’s
love books. She has a cute face and is also an excellent worker. Her
only fault is that she is likely to be influenced by preconceived
ideas. She came from a rural area longing for Tokyo, a city where
there are so many animation programs. When she gets excited, she speaks
with a regional accent. Her hobby is collecting badges and is skilled
at “Boys’ love seminar”. |

Jun is a chief of
part timers, and her role is to assist the store manager. Her position
is like an older sister to everyone and her role is to calm down the
store manager who gets heated up easily. She has flexible sensibilities
(or rather call it carelessness) for accepting Anizawa who has appeared
as a store manager all of a sudden in a calm manner. She likes aesthetic
series characters in animation and games. |

She works part-time
at the audio-visual merchandise section. She has worked the longest
as a part-time worker and her knowledge for products is superior to
regular employees so her role is to be the brain for the store manager.
It is thanks to her efforts that Norizawa’s business is operating
well. She is rather shy and it has been said that she is “rather
dull”. Since the “Ramicard Musume (daughters)”,
a glimpse of a dubious character can begin to be seen. Her charm point
is big breasts. |

and speaks boy’s language. Similar to the store manager, she
loves merchandise like it was her own child. Actually she is really
nerdy, buy she has a tendency to hide this from “ordinary people”. |

He is the store manager
of the Shibuya store. He used to be the head of gangs and is nicknamed,
“fallen angel of absolute freezing point”. He has a handsome
face and cool eyes, and the most visual type in Animate but actually
he attributes, “petit Moe”. His current favorite animation
is witch series. |

He is the manager
of Akihabara store. He is a mad scientist and has a hobby in creating
pretty girl robots. He is a good nerdy friend of Anizawa, but they
tend to take opposite sides against each other. He has worked the
longest among the 5 store managers (Anizawa, Dogenzaka, Denki, Mel).
He loves digital tentacle Eroge series. |

of Animate. He is the king of animation merchandise and dominates
the back society of Ikebukuro. |

Currently, “Shin Hoero Pen (New Enter the Pen)” is a
continuing series on Shogakukan, Sunday GX. A movie version f “Gyakkyo
Nine” will be released in the summer, 2005. He is the most passionate
cartoonist in Japan. |
